Get Cozy With Cannabis:Part 1
Indoor Wellness
It’s that time of the year again when the leaves start falling, we see more cold days than warm, and we spend more time indoors. Wellness and self-care are necessary during these months more than ever. We can accomplish that with indoor movement, more rest, and productive activities like baking or letting our creative juices flow.
So, here’s some inspiration for how you can spend that time more intentionally, with different activities and a hint (or your preferred dose) of cannabis.
Indoor movement:
Yoga or a low-intensity exercise - Incorporate cannabis with a drop of tincture in your tea to warm up and prep for your session.
Play with your pet(s) - Get energy out of them and prepare for a cozy night. According to HelpGuide.org, quality time with your pet is suggested to “elevate serotonin and dopamine,” providing relaxation.
Cooking/Baking - Moving around in the kitchen, creating your favorite dishes, and maybe even a special, infused treat is a great way to keep your body going with something to look forward to after.
Cleaning/Tidying Up - Get in some light movement with your favorite SeaWeed Co. cart (or pre-roll) by your side. Put on some music and dance it out until you're done!
A Cozy Day In:
Cozy mornings in - Warm up with a hot tea or coffee, and add your favorite SWC tincture
Plan a movie night - Pick out your favorite movie, prep some popcorn and other snacks, and grab a piece (or a few) of our SWC chocolate bar for an elevated experience.
Selfcare - Run a warm bath with CBD bath salts and blends from Merrymeeting Bay Hemp Company or Headland Homestead. Keep it going by applying salve or medicated lip balm to complete your self-care time.
A friend’s night in - Have your friends over, order takeout, and enjoy a pre-roll while waiting for the munchies to kick in.
Get Crafty - Let the creative juices flow by incorporating cannabis into your favorite creative practice, whether you are making music, drawing/crafting, or maybe decorating. It’s time to let your mind to wander.
Read/Journal - I find that the best way to wind down after a crazy day is with a pate de fruit gummy and journaling or reading. Sometimes, reflection is necessary; other days, it’s nice to explore someone else's ideas. Either way, you get less time on the screen and more time thinking intentionally.
