August 2023: The Month of Awards

August 2023 was a big month for Cannabis in Maine! Here at SeaWeed Co., we attended events in and outside of the industry, and celebrated some major wins along the way.

We started off by celebrating a win from Best of Portland Maine 2023 for Best Recreational Dispensary! After weeks of nominations, we were able to take home the award for the third year in a row. Three years open, and three years as Best Recreational Dispensary in Portland, Maine… exciting, right?

We also came in first place at NECANN in the Solvent Concentrate Category for our Grape Cured Resin and third in the Snacks Category for our Raspberry Pate de Fruit. We’re so proud of our lab and confectionary team for their hard work that led to these wins!

Speaking of award winning creations… Our tasty Strawberry Jalapeño Pate de Fruit was chosen as August Edible of the Month in Northeast Magazine as well!

This melt-in-your-mouth gummy is known to keep you chill after a long day, help you sleep, and relieve joint pain. What more could you ask for in an edible, really? We recently dropped a collab Blackberry Pâte de Fruit with GELE as well, available now in our retail locations!

To end the month off, we enjoyed time with our community at the Maine Cannabis Festival. We offered free (non-thc) goodies at our table, listened to local reggae artists, and enjoyed a late summer night in Maine with the industry. We’re excited for Maine Women’s Connection to put on their second annual festival next year and more events like this in the future.
